Assassin’s Creed video game is an amazing action-themed game developed and published by Ubisoft Quebec. It was launched in October 2015 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and November 2015 for Microsoft Windows. It’s the 9th major release in the Creed series and the heir to the previous year Assassin’s Creed Unity.

General Impression

Just like the 2014’s Creed Unity, Syndicate is an intimate, personal game mixed with earlier Creed’s tendencies to incorporate historical figures. The present day elements are toned down than they were in the earlier versions, so much that they are barely present. You spend your time as Evie Frye and Jacob, Assassin twins who settled in London in 1868.

Under the guidance of Crawford Starrick, the Templars enjoy a stranglehold on the town and an evil gang known as the Blighters runs the town. The absence of any fraud around in the present-day setting is a boom to the game’s story, allowing sharp-focus on the 1860s London plot. The game deals with policies and politics of Industrial Revolution London, with Evie and Jacob fighting to dismantle the Templar conspiracy and bring justice to the city.

Graphics and Design

Assassin Creed Syndicate is played from a 3rd-party perspective and it is navigated by carriage or on foot. The game has new traveling systems as well as refined stealth and combat mechanics. Gamers control the 2 lead protagonists – twins Evie and Jacob – throughout the story, interchanging between them during and after the missions.

Unlike the 2014 version, the game doesn’t feature a multiplayer gameplay. The game also features amazing music that was composed by Austin Wintory.

The game was developed by Ubisoft Quebec, who also happens to be the publishers.

Positive and Negative impression

Being the 9th release of the Assassin Creed, the game has lots of benefits that you will notice immediately you begin to play it. To begin, it features an amazing atmospheric London setting that will make you want to explore further. It also features great visuals and improved combat and controls that make it easy to play.

The major negatives include repetitive gangland activities as well as stale elements that remain stale.

Story Summary

Born in Crawley, a rural borough just under thirty miles from London city, Evie and Jacob were raised as litho assassins. At the beginning of the game, they are new in the city and you will discover the town alongside them, understanding its advantages and dangers in tandem and mastering the industrial technology.

In the current time, the Assassin Initiate, Helix player, is again sought by Bishop from the Creed: Brotherhood and is assigned the task of reliving the memories of Evie and Jacob to get a Piece of Eden hidden in the city. Meanwhile, Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane have infiltrated an Abstergo structure and decided to spy on Templar meeting.

Big, stunning, rich, and atmospheric, the game feels like a return to the glorious days of the Assassin Creed: Brotherhood, where story and system came together to form something superb. The gameplay that was becoming boring has regained the respect it deserves.
